Cooking Teams: It’s time to divide into teams and then build team spirit by creating cooking team names, cheers and boastful banners.
Ladle Ready: Teams practice what it takes to be a real cook-off team that chops, dices, stirs, and taste test well together. In a series of frontier culinary team challenges, from collecting cooking supplies to building the fire and setting the frontier dinner table, teams earn points. The challenge – win the most points. The better the teamwork, the higher your team score.
Ready, Stir, Taste: You may think you have a pallet of champions, but can you cook to win? Don’t expect Julia Child or Wolfgang Puck, but the chili is often editable. Teams scavenge for supplies and ingredients and combine them into their masterpiece dishes. Finish up the event with a hoedown to show off your tasty treat and talents.
The Judging: Who Won? Well, if your concoction didn’t kill off the judges, you may have a chance. Points are counted from the Ladle Ready Challenges and the Chili Cook-Off based on placement.
