Chuck Wagon Build and Race

If you’re tired of riding the open range punchin’ doggies along the digital Chisholm Trail, then saddle up for some real excitement by constructing and racing your own chuck wagon. All you need is your posse of ranch hands and a hankerin’ for some high-noon fun.
Groups divide into chuck wagon teams and compete for frontier points by successfully completing team challenges; building, decorating and racing their chuck wagons; performing their own campfire songs and dances at a hoedown; and demonstrating true “home on the range” spirit.

What does a Chuck Wagon program look like?

Wrangler Warm-Ups: Participants get warmed up with fun interactive icebreakers while creating their wagon teams, ranch names and hoedown songs.

Wagon Train Challenges: Hone and unify your teamwork. All teams compete in frontier challenges to earn points. Best teamwork wins the most frontier points.

Wagon Build & “Cookie’s” Hoedown: Wagon teams build and decorate their chuck wagons and prepare for their Hoedown named for the person that ranks second only to the trailboss – Cookie. Teams win points for best wagon design and most entertaining campfire songs and dances.

Texas Range Stampede: It’s time to harness up and race your wagons. All teams race to watering holes where teams solve problems to advance. Be quick on your wheels to claim first place.

. Wagon Train Awards Ceremony: It’s time to count your winnings and swagger a bit as winners are announced.
